There Skateboards: A fusion of art and skateboard decks

The origins of There Skateboards are firmly anchored with Unity Press. Through this dedicated platform for queer skateboarding, Jeffrey Cheung not only enabled many to connect with other queer and trans skateboarders, but also brought his creative vision to skateboard decks. As the enthusiasm grew, Cheung and Gabe Ramirez joined forces to create an independent brand from Unity.

The mission of There: A new chapter in skateboarding

It was always intended that There would maintain the spirit of queer skateboarding while embracing the attributes of a traditional skateboard brand - a dedicated skate team, impressive clips and premium decks. But it wasn't just about creating another skateboard brand for the LGBTQ+ community. It was an opportunity to give non-conventional skaters a voice. Interestingly, There Skateboards was launched shortly before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in 2019.

THERE Skateboards: Rise and expansion

With the release of the tour video "Euro There", which showed impressive scenes from Milan, Paris and Barcelona, There has expanded its footprint despite global challenges. Today, as a renowned partner of DLXSF Distribution, There has made waves with "Ruining Skateboarding". Both talented and tight-knit, There's current skate team includes names like Marbie Miller, James Pitoniak, Briana King and many more.

A brand for everyone

Although There Skateboards focuses on queer skateboarding, it doesn't exclude anyone, as the story of former team member Nadair Asghari shows.
